Antique Japanese bowl dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Its blue floral decoration, painted with great simplicity, unfolds across a light ceramic surface with soft, subtly irregular tones.
Once broken, the bowl has been restored using the traditional art of kintsugi, with genuine 24k gold. The golden line extends the movement of the decoration: the fracture is not erased, but becomes a presence — a luminous trace revealing the story of the piece.
A unique object, quiet, sensitive, and deeply wabi-sabi.
