Kintsugi and Stingray: A Unique Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
In the world of art, kintsugi stands out for its ability to transform an imperfection into a work of art. By combining this ancestral technique with a noble material like stingray skin, I propose a new interpretation of beauty, where each crack becomes a unique signature.
Stingray: A Material Full of Promise
Stingray skin, with its iridescent reflections and inimitable texture, is an exceptional material that has seduced the greatest fashion houses. However, the production of this precious leather inevitably generates scraps. By integrating these scraps into my kintsugi creations, I give them a second life while creating pieces of great originality.
Kintsugi: A Bridge Between Past and Future
Kintsugi, by celebrating the scars of time, invites us to rethink our relationship with objects. By combining this technique with contemporary materials like stingray skin, I want to create pieces that resonate with our time, while paying tribute to traditions.
A Unique Artistic Journey
My work consists in giving a new dimension to materials, by sublimating them through ancestral techniques. Each piece is unique, the result of a dialogue between the artisan and the material.
I am convinced that the combination of kintsugi and stingray offers many creative possibilities. I would be delighted to explore new collaborations with actors who share my passion for beautiful materials and exceptional craftsmanship.
