A small glazed ceramic vase with a generous silhouette structured by several horizontal ridges. Its deep glaze combines shades of moss green, khaki and dark blue, enlivened by mottled and crystalline effects that give the surface an almost mineral appearance.
Its fractures have been restored using the traditional art of kintsugi, with natural Japanese urushi lacquer and pure 24-carat gold powder. The golden lines travel across the vessel, contrasting with the depth of the glaze and revealing a new architecture within the material.
A unique piece poised between decorative object and contemplative sculpture.
