A truly exceptional piece: a white porcelain vase with mother-of-pearl inlay
This 21 cm white porcelain vase is a true collector’s item, crafted with meticulous artisanal care. Handcrafted by Cecile Martin of the Atelier Entre terre, it had been broken.
Restored using the Japanese technique of kintsugi, it features 24-karat gold lines that underscore the elegance of its form.
To make it even more unique, I chose to inlay mother-of-pearl, a noble and rare material. This particularly delicate technique requires exceptional skill.
The result? A vase of striking beauty, both classic and contemporary.
