“Fractal : Origin” – An Églomisé Glass and Gold Artwork

Discover “Fractal : Origine”, a unique artwork where light and matter meet to create an endlessly renewed spectacle.

Crafted from églomisé glass, this piece is an artistic marvel: pure gold leaf has been applied beneath the glass, giving birth to unparalleled depth and brilliance.

The 24-carat gold background harmoniously blends with subtle 18-carat gold lines, echoing the precious fractures of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of sublimating imperfections. On the surface, unique crystals are created through an innovative technical and chemical process, capturing and diffracting light. Every viewing angle reveals a new perspective, a fascinating exploration at the frontier between science and art. You’ll never tire of contemplating its shifting reflections.

Let yourself be transported by its evocations: the delicate gleam of mother-of-pearl, the soothing softness of snow, or the fleeting essence of a floating dream. With a diameter of 40 cm, “Fractal : Origine” is not only magnificent but also solid and durable, thanks to the use of tempered glass and over 400 sheets of gold leaf.
