This delicate porcelain mini plate was handcrafted in France by the Entreterre workshop. Measuring approximately 16 cm in diameter, it combines a soft, irregular shape with the luminous simplicity of white porcelain.
A crack that appeared during firing has been preserved and transformed rather than concealed. The plate was restored using kintsugi techniques, with the fracture highlighted by an imitation gold finish. The golden lines create a subtle contrast with the white porcelain and turn the firing accident into an integral part of the composition.
The result is a unique decorative piece in which French craftsmanship meets the Japanese aesthetic of embracing traces of transformation and imperfection.
