This work explores the moment when rupture becomes language.
Created from a 52 cm Chinese white crackled celadon vase, the piece has been opened to reveal a traversing emerald-colored geode, like an inner light finally brought to the surface. The form opens onto a vibrant depth, where the interior is no longer concealed but fully revealed.
At the heart of this work is that turning point when what appears broken begins to disclose something even more precious than wholeness. The silver lines of tintsugi do not seek to conceal the wound; they honor it, giving structure, rhythm, and presence to the transformation. The geode, with its deep emerald presence, turns the interior into something visible, vibrant, and almost alive.
Here, fracture is not loss.
It is revelation.
