This superb celadon stoneware bowl, 16cm in diameter and 6.5cm high, comes from China. It dates from the famous Ming dynasty, which reigned between 1368 and 1644.
Time has not spared it, and it had a chip on the lip and a major chip on the foot that made it unstable.
I restored it using the 24-carat gold kintsugi technique, restoring its beauty and use to this incredible antique!
Myriam’s view: Celadon stoneware bowls are emblematic of the Ming period.
