Measuring 10 cm high, this small yellow-glazed terracotta soliflore is a unique and original object. It has been handmade in Greece by a local craftsman. The yellow glaze is bright and luminous, and the shape of the soliflore is simple and elegant.
Unfortunately, the soliflore was broken during transport. It was therefore restored using the traditional kintsugi technique, which involves repairing broken objects with pure gold and Japanese lacquer. This technique is a Japanese tradition that symbolizes the beauty of imperfection.
The soliflore has been restored with care and precision. The cracks were carefully joined and covered with a fine layer of gold. The result is a unique, precious object that tells a story.
