Rediscover the art of coffee with this unique mug
An exceptional piece of craftsmanship
This porcelain coffee cup, handcrafted by Cécile Martin of the Entreterre workshop, embodies the very essence of traditional craftsmanship. Its elegant shape and delicate texture testify to the invaluable expertise of its creator.
A singular story
Marked by a chip on its lip, this mug has been given a second life thanks to meticulous restoration. Using the ancient technique of kintsugi, I transformed this imperfection into a work of art. This Japanese method involves repairing broken objects with gold lacquer, creating beautiful patterns that tell the story of the object.
A golden lotus blooms
Going beyond kintsugi, I used the refined technique of maki-e to sublimate this restoration. This Japanese technique of lacquer decoration involves the use of gold powder and delicate pigments, creating patterns of incomparable finesse and beauty. In this case, a golden lotus blooms on the lip of the cup, symbolizing rebirth and transformation.
A mug that’s both practical and aesthetic
Far from being a mere decorative piece, this coffee mug is perfectly functional. Meticulous restoration using food-grade materials guarantees safe use. Enjoy your favorite coffees in this unique mug and let yourself be transported by its history and singular beauty.
A unique piece to cherish
This restored porcelain coffee mug is an absolutely unique piece. There is no other like it in the world. It’s an opportunity to acquire an authentic work of art, steeped in tradition and craftsmanship, that will enhance your coffee moments with a touch of elegance and refinement.
