Description

This lovely pair of Japanese porcelain vases by Kutani is decorated with swallows and cherry blossoms.

Their necks, known as swan necks, are geometrically decorated with gold.

The top of the neck of the larger of the two vases was broken and restored with 24-carat gold kintsugi.

The smaller vase measures 15cm high and the larger 24cm.

Both are hand-signed by the potter.

These are two unique objects just waiting to host flowers again.
