This ceramic bowl from Japan is glazed in a bronze-like metallic brown.
Entirely hand-shaped, it is marked with the potter’s stamp on the foot.
It is a sugi-nari bowl: its shape is the same as that of traditional wooden bowls.
Broken, I restored it using traditional Japanese lacquer, called Urushi, and 24-carat gold.
You can reuse this bowl to drink your favorite tea, or simply keep it as an object of admiration.
It measures 11.5 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height, and is truly unique.
