This superb white stoneware bowl, 15cm in diameter and 4,5cm high, comes from China. It dates from the famous Song dynasty, which reigned between 960 and 1279
Time has not spared it, and it had 2 chips on the lip and cracks.
I restored it using the 24-carat gold kintsugi technique, restoring its beauty and use to this incredible antique!
PS: this is a genuine antique, and it comes with its certificate of authenticity
Myriam’s view: Hira-gate bowls are very popular for the tea ceremony.
