Antique Japanese bowl in a sugi-nari shape, dating from the late 19th century. Its luminous green glaze reveals a delicate underglaze botanical decoration, like a subtle imprint held within the ceramic surface.
Once broken, the bowl has been restored using the traditional art of kintsugi, with genuine 24k gold. The fractures are not concealed; they become a precious drawing, a luminous script that dialogues with the depth of the green glaze and the botanical motifs beneath it.
