Kintsugi Ki-Seto cup: Green and Earth Tones
Discover a delicate cup from Japanese craftsmanship, authentic to the Ki-Seto (Yellow Seto) style, imbued with wabi-sabi aesthetics. With its fine dimensions of 11 cm in diameter and only 2.5 cm in height, this small plate is perfect for tasting wagashi (Japanese sweets), appetizers, or holding incense.
The dish features a harmony of natural colors:
- The background glaze combines warm earthy tones (from beige to ochre) with the characteristic nuances of Ki-Seto.
 - The whole is dominated by deep green accents and oxidized brown spots, creating an organic and natural aesthetic.

Its charm is enhanced by delicate maple leaf motifs (momiji), which evoke the fleeting beauty of autumn. These motifs are traced with iron oxide before firing, appearing as subtle touches beneath the glaze and highlighting the raw character of the clay.
Once broken, this cup was magnificently resurrected by the ancient technique of kintsugi. Each fracture has been meticulously repaired and enhanced with pure 24-karat gold, transforming its imperfections into a network of luminous lines—a testament to its history and resilience.
More than a simple object, this cup is a unique and functional work of art. It is ready to be reused to enrich your tasting moments, blending the beauty of tradition with the story of a rebirth.
