“Phoebus” wall mirror installation
This Kintsugi-effect mirror installation is made of eglomised glass, a gilding technique previously used to create mirrors. It comprises 12 gold-leafed mirrors ranging from 8 to 60 cm.
It’s like a painting, with gold lines running through your reflection.
The background is 22-carat gold and the breaks are 18-carat gold.
Over 4,000 sheets of gold were used to create these mirrors.
The mirrors are supplied with a professional hanging system.
