Art nouveau Kintsugi vase

This exceptional 33.5cm tall piece, dating from the early 20th century, captures the timeless form of a calabash and boasts a stunning turquoise glaze reminiscent of Chinese porcelain.
Signed ‘PIERRE PERRET VALLAURIS’ in the base, this vase is a true work of art.
Despite some accidents (broken handles and a crack), it has been beautifully restored using the traditional Japanese technique of kintsugi, revealing its 24-karat gold scars.
This fusion of French Art Nouveau and Japanese kintsugi aesthetics makes it a unique and highly desirable piece for collectors.
