This magnificent porcelain plate, 15cm in diameter, was entirely hand-crafted in France by the Entreterre workshop. It is distinguished by its immaculate whiteness and exceptional finesse, testifying to the unrivalled craftsmanship of its creator.

If time has left its mark on this unique creation, it’s to give it an even more singular dimension. In fact, the plate suffered a crack during firing. To preserve its authenticity and beauty, I restored it using the ancestral kintsugi technique. This Japanese method involves filling cracks with gold lacquer, sublimating imperfections and transforming the scar into a work of art in its own right.

Far from being a flaw, this meticulous restoration gives the cut a unique soul and a captivating story. Each golden line tells the story of a chapter in its existence, underlining its resilience and timeless beauty.
