This brown-glazed Japanese stoneware chawan was handcrafted in Kyoto by a master potter.
Han tsutsu-gata shaped, its body is streaked with slightly raised dark-brown glaze.
Accidentally broken, I restored it using traditional Japanese lacquer, called Urushi, and 24-carat gold.
You can reuse this bowl to drink your favorite tea, or simply keep it as an object to admire.
It measures 11 cm in diameter and 9 cm in height, and is completely unique.
